Upsy Daisy and Blog Candy!

Today I am going to share a card with you that I made using a technique that is an easy way to make Mountains on your handmade card!  This is one of the techniques that I have on my other web site http://learn.glitternfool.com   Each week, my very talented girlfriend (Karen Culler) and I put two techniques on there.  We named it Twosday's Techniques, the name is a word play about the two of us putting a technique up on Tuesday!  I thought it was cute.

For this week, I wanted to show how easy and beautiful it is to put Mountains on your handmade card using sponges and daubers.  Below is the info if you want to look into joining our site!

The funny thing is that the 'birds' in this picture were made because I had accidentally put a dot of Not Quite Navy on the card where I didn't want it.  The GREAT thing is that I LOVE having them on there!!    My husband says it finishes off the card perfectly.  Gotta love when people say that!  Plus, this just PROVES that you can NEVER make a mistake when making a card.......it just makes you either accessorize or add something you didn't think of!!

I used the stamp set Upsy Daisy #111710, $18.95 and the only color I used ink wise is Not Quite navy!!  Pretty cool that this gorgeous handmade card uses only one ink pad!

If you would like to order this stamp set, just click on my website here and click on the Shop Now button.  Once you place your order, it will come straight to your door!!

And here is the info on Twosday's Techniques:

Thursday the 26th I am giving out blog candy!  To be put in the drawing to win, the only thing you need to do is leave me a message here on my blog!  Here is what you can win:

This is a really cool stamp set!!  Good luck everyone!

Have a Great Stamping Day!

I love this card! That's so true about 'no mistakes' in stamping. We can always find some way to 'fix' them, and it's usually a result that's better than what we'd originally planned! Thanks for sharing!

Great card! I'm going to try the cone flower from "Inspired by Nature" for the palm trees--without the brown center. LOL. You can never have too many ways to make a palm tree, right?

Wow! This is a really cool technique. I haven't seen this type of thing before... looks almost like a painting. As you say, the birds do add the finishing touch.

It's very generous of you to offer this lovely stamp set as candy. Thanks for the chance to join in the fun.
