Just to let you know, prices on our cardstock is going up!  We haven't raised our paper prices for a LONG time!  I am letting you know, so you can pre-order what paper you need (hopefully from me!!) before the prices go up!   The first of July is when the prices go up, so don't put it off!!    SU! has the BEST paper out there!  If you have ever tried some other brands, you know!  You can do this experiment...........take our paper, stamp an image, take another brand of paper and stamp the same image...............It DOES make a difference!!  I haven't used any other brand since I started stamping.  I had bought a BUNCH of paper from the big Store, and once I discovered Stampin' Up! I never went back!  I have a cupboard full of this old paper and I let my Daughter use it (she is 9, she doesn't care!).  IF you care about how your projects come out, you will want to stick with our paper!!  It really makes cards look professional!! 


Today I am showing you a handmade card I did yesterday for a Shoebox swap.  What is a Shoebox Swap?  You design a card, then cut up all the pieces that make up the card times as many people who will be doing the swap, plus all the inks and accessories and put them all in a plastic bin that looks like a shoebox!  Everyone attending supplies everything needed to do their cards, this way you can handmake all their cards and go home with some great ideas!!  

This card I had in my head, and meant to make the flower something like a sunflower, but I LOVE the Pacific Point paper, so at the last minute I switched it up.  NOT sure there is a real life flower out there that looks like this one, but in MY world there is!    

 

So?  How do you like it?  Everyone who did the shoebox swap LOVED it!  It really makes me happy when I can come up with something on my own and it turns out well.
