Inspired by Nature and Blog Candy!

Today I am going to show you a technique that I got from the Technique Junkie Newsletter.  I used the SU! stamp set Inspired by Nature.  This card is very soft looking and very easy!!

I used the Big Shot with the Bigz Scallop Circle Die and cut out the circle from a piece of scrap chipboard.  Taking the circle and putting it away for a later time, I used the negative for this technique.  I place the cut out chipboard (negative) over my Very Vanilla cardstock and sponged More Mustard on the edges going into the circle.  Making sure not to go into the center and making the edges darker.  Since I wanted to use the White Gel pen from Stampin' up! to accent the scallops, the darker it was the better!!  Leaving the negative in place I then stamped the Inspired by Nature so it wouldn't go out of the edges.  You can make it to where it goes out of the masked oval, it is totally up to you and the card you want to do.

    Hi Lisa,
I like this one and I can see doing in a pink and purple combination like the real Echinacea purpura L. or purple cone flower. There are really yellow cone flowers so I am happy with this combination and may try it soon. Looks easy too.
