Fancy Flower SCCSC #10 AND Blog Candy!
I got a late start today, but I love what I came up with, so I hope you will think it was worth the wait!
Today's handmade card uses Sending Love Specialty Designer Series paper from SU!, and it uses these rubberstamp sets: Flower Fancy and Smarty Pants. I stamped the flower image outline with Basic Black ink and then stamped the inside flower image (gotta love the 2 step stamp sets from Stampin' Up!) in Real Red. I layered that piece with black. I used the Sending Love DP as the big block and then the sentiment was cut using the Modern Label punch.
Here is the Card Sketch I had to design for:

These Challenges really make you think and not just CASE (Copy And Stamp Everything) other people's cards. I love them because I know that I am a talented stamper and sometimes it becomes so easy to just CASE and not do my own work, and these make me step out of that comfort zone.
I would like you guys to try this challenge!! Please make all the stamps current SU! supplies, because my blog is exclusively SU! Plus, when you make that awesome card, I want to be able to CASE you!!
This will help YOU get past your fears too.
I will post your cards next week. So, get going............and make me proud!!
Here is my handmade card:

After stamping the image I put Crystal Effects over the flower image to give it more of a puffy look, and I love how shiny it becomes!
Here is a closer look at that:

Once again, i hope you like what I have done. Remember each time you comment (one comment per entry per person please!) you will be put in a drawing that will be held on Monday the 12th of April. You will have a chance to win this winter stamp set called Snow Buddies!!

Good luck everyone!!
Have a Great Stamping Day!
