Upsy Daisy Spotlight AND blog Candy!!!
Todays handmade card was a CASE from Glenda. I loved it so much I decided to keep it just like it was!! I love the colors, and LOVE the rubber stamp set from SU!
This set is called Upsy Daisy, and it is a VERY easy stamp set to use, you really can't go wrong with it!
I have never done the 'spotlight' technique and after doing this card I wonder why? It is so easy, yet very striking!! And the circle punches are so easy to use. Did I say 'easy' a lot? Well that is because it is!!
The colors for the cardstock is: Crushed Curry, Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White. The ink I used is Rose Red and Crushed Curry. I took the Stampin' Up! ink pad, Crushed Curry and inked up the top of the stamp. I then inked up the bottom of the stamp, and very carefully inking a little into the crushed curry, this way it is both colors and it blended extremely well!!
The circle punches I used are the 1 3/8", 1 1/4" and the 1". I changed up the border for each punch, so it adds some variety.

The blog candy that I mentioned yesterday is a rubber stamp set from SU! called Extreme Guitar. I was so excited to get this set, that I ordered it TWICE!! LOL So, good news for you is that I am giving one away to one lucky person. What do you have to do? ALL you have to do is comment on my blog up until Monday the 29th of March and I will have a drawing from those who participated. How easy is that!!???
Here is the stamp set:

If you look closely, it is very detailed to where you can see the guitar specifics and his hair is very Rocker Crazy!
Good Luck!!
Have a Great Stamping Day!

I am going to have to do this spotlight technique...just never have done it, but after seeing your card, must do! I'd love to win the Guitar set. My son has been playing guitar since he was 5 years old....he's now 35! Thanks for sharing. You continue to be an inspiration!
