NEW Catty Sneak Peek!! AND Blog Candy Winner!!

Hey everyone!  Today is Monday and I am excited for this new week!  Today I am going to show you a BRAND NEW rubber stamp set from SU! that will be out in the NEW Big Catty!!  It is called Awash with Flowers, and it is really cool!  This set has 18 stamps inside!!   And it is a 2 step stamp set...........which is awesome with SU!'s color combos you can use!!   It is a very New age and hip set.

For Todays card I stamped the flower outline image on Vellum Cardstock and then turned it over and using my impressor (sylus) I outlined the image so it became white and puffy on the other side!!  This adds some great texture to your card and it is very simple yet  impressive.

I stamped the same flower image in the background and with the stamp set Fundamental Phrases (also from Stampin' Up!) added the tag on the side.   I used black brads to hold the vellum onto the cardstock.

I like how it came out!  How about you?

Now, for the moment you have been waiting for!!!!!.................................The WINNER of the Blog Candy is....................................................

Lauren S!!!   Lauren make sure you send me your home address so I can send you your brads!    Congratulations!!!

Check back in tomorrow for  another chance to win some more Blog Candy!!

You can leave messages today and it will go towards the drawing.

Have a Great Stamping Day!

Love the card! I haven't used vellum in awhile and your card was a good reminder to get it out! Love the idea of embossing the back, as well. Thanks for sharing! I always look forward to your blog.

    Lisa, I like this card.
What color did you stamp with?
Does it matter which side of the vellum that you stamp on?

      Jeria,
First off, thanks for checking me out!!  Second, if you want the color to show up better you turn the vellum over to do the embossing.  IF you are using a really bright color, and want it more muted, you would emboss on the same side, and THEN turn it over to see.  Love you girl!!
