Family Photo page

I'm sorry that I haven't posted much this week.  I will be much better next week I promise!

I have been working on my Daughter Kristi's scrapbook, and I am almost done!!  What I have left to do, is a page where she is trying on all the wedding dresses, and which one we LOVED!, and this last Christmas and I am done!!  I can't believe it!!

So, today I am showing you a Family Photo session that we did in 2006.  Not only is this page for Kristi, but I want to toot her horn that she is the photographer for our family pictures too.

This picture is set in our 'sun room' (screened in porch) and my husband is really into palms, (UNDERSTATEMENT!!)  so of course I had to put a palm on the page. Plus, you can see a palm behind us.   I also handmade some flowers to go with the flowers behind us in the picture.

Here are the close ups of some of the designs I have on the page.  Hope you like the palm tree!!

I hand cut the palm leaves, very simple really.  And the leaves for the flowers I did by using an oval punch, fold punched image in half and then run through the crimper.  Once you unflod it, it looks just like a leaf!!   I used heart brads that I got from SU! a long time ago (retired), I used the Quirky Alphabet numbers also from Stampin' Up! (retired).   I hang on to all my alphabets since you can never go wrong using them on a page................MUCH better than running out of stickers and having a bunch of certain letters and none of the ones you need!!!

I really love how this page came out!!  AND the best thing is:  ALL Five of my kids are in the picture!!  This happens every other year, where we are all together, so I have Kristi take pictures each time it occurs.    Thanks Kristi!

Would YOU like to come to my scrapbook class?  It is at my home on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in Kernersville NC.
I can always send you the specifics if you don't live near by, just let me know if you are interested.

Have a Great Stamping Day!!
