Wonderful Watercolors

Today I decided to make an 'old' card.    How do you do that, you ask?  Well, a LOT of distressing and sponging.  I used the Stampin' Up! stamp sets Wonderful Watercolors and En Francais (LOVE this set!!).   The colors I used for this handmade card is Ruby Red, Chocolate Chip, Creamy Caramel and Old Olive.  I tore, distressed and sponged to make it look like it has been around for a while.  Does it look like it is old?
I also used the sentiment from the SU! stamp set Good Friend, and these two punches: 1 3/8" circle and Designer label.  And I also used the 5/8" grosgrain Chocolate Chip ribbon.

This is my OWN design!  I don't do it very often, since I have SO MANY places to get ideas.  But, today I said to myself that 'it can't be that hard', and it wasn't!  I started with the stamped image of the flowers, and then kept going.  I like how it came out, how about you?
Please comment so I know that you have been here, and if you like it!

I think I am going to have us do this card at my Tuesday Class next week, wanna come?  The time is at 6:30 p.m. and it is at my home in Kernersville NC.  I would love to have you!  Just let me know if you plan on coming so I can have enough cut.

Have a great Stamping Day!
