Large Oval edging
Yesterday I was trying to come up with something for my class that was a definite WOW! You know me, I don't do things part way, I have to have everything go a little further than an 'ordinary' card. 
It's my disease, if you come to my classes it could be infectious, you've been warned!! LOL So, I put in the DVD I got from Stampin' Up! called Workshop Wows, you see SU! takes SUCH good care of us demo's that they give us so many ideas so we can keep our creative juices flowing, and found this really great technique that allows you to put decorative edging around any circle or oval!! You will HAVE to contact me so I can show you in person, it is something best learned in person.
Not only did we edge the wide oval once, but we did it TWICE!! We used Designer paper for the first go around, and then Bashful Blue the second go around. This card also uses the Sizzix Embossing Folder Manhattan Flower. We just put the Basic Gray cardstock through the Sizzix and Voila! Simple, yet elegant!! The verse is from the Stamp set Fifth Avenue Floral.
This stamp set is going to focus on a NEW very WOW technique the First Monday of the Month at the Senior Center, the class is at 9:45 (get there by 9:30) and again at 1:00, you WON'T want to miss this one!! Please let me know if you plan on attending so I can have enough supplies cut.
