Greenhouse Garden

I learned this new technique and wanted to share it with you!  Cut your cardstock like you would for a card (8 1/2 X 5 1/2) and fold in half.  On the top of the open front, very lightly draw a line down the front of the card using a pencil at a 1/2 inch.  Take your Stampin' Up! slit punch and line it up along the pencil line you drew and punch. Move the punch down your card leaving about 1/4 inch or less between each punch, being sure to keep on the line you drew.  Once it is  punched down your card, just fold back the side that was punched leaving the slit punch 'inside out', layer a piece of cardstock behind (see the ruby red on my card?) and layer another piece of coordinating color along the punched slits.  Hopefully this makes sense!  I am going to do this at an upcoming class so if you would like me to show you in person let me know and you can come to the class!     If you can't come to the class, just let me know and I will try to do a 'how to' video to show you.

The stamp sets I used is SU!'s Greenhouse Garden and Hope Happens.   I love this handmade card, and it is really pretty in person when you can see the Rhinestone in the center of the flower and feel the cool effect that the layering gives it.

This card is really simple to do, but it is a definite Wow!!

Hope you have a Great Stamping Day!
