My daughter is engaged to be married to a great guy named Adam!   He is a Marine who will be shipping out soon.  I want to get donations and card fronts from you guys so we can put them together and send to Adam and the troops he is with.   Any donation is welcome, you can send me money for supplies, you can buy cardstock, mailing envelopes or clear envelopes for us to use.  You can also Volunteer your time to put them together on August 15 here in Kernersville NC at the Senior Center (below the Kernersville Library) we will be open from 9-4.  I want to be able to send at least 1000 cards.  There are three ships that I want to take care of.  We have already contacted the Chaplain who will be on board and he is willing to distribute these cards for the Marines and Sailors to send home to their loved ones.  They won't be able to go out and buy cards, and this will give them the opportunity to stay close to their families.  I am going to contact the media in the area to cover this, so I want this to be a success!!!

I want your help!!  Let me re-phrase that......I NEED your help!!  Any and all supplies or money donated will be ENTIRELY donated to this cause.  I would like to receive card fronts if you have them. Or you can call me to place an order for you, or you can just send the cardstock to me and I will make sure that it gets used for these cards.  Most of the cards donated will be card fronts from other SU! demonstrators that will need to be made into regular cards.  Other than envelopes for the troops to mail home, the cards will need clear envelopes to put them in, so when they are handled and looked at they won't get too dirty.  Remember these troops will be in an area that is not exactly clean, there is a lot of dirt and we don't want them to get messed up too bad before they are sent!
