Bigz Sizzix Die Card

Have you ever had a day, or a week in my circumstance, where you just don't feel like doing anything!?  This week has been tough for me.  But I wanted to make sure I put something here for you guys to hopefully ooooh and aaaaawww over.  Did I do it?  I don't know!  YOU will have to tell me!

I borrowed a Bigz die from my friend Pam and I had to use it or else she would wonder why I borrowed it!    The die is the one with the daisy's in the 3 different sizes.  LOVE it!  I also love the In Color from Stampin' Up! Pacific Point, so decided to use that and black.....these two colors POP!!!    I also used the Die Beautiful Butterflies which you can only get from SU!  Our Founder Shelli Gardner designed this and she knows what we like!    I cut out the butterfly using Pacific Point and Baja Breeze, I used the Pacific Point double stitched ribbon and used a Rhinestone for the head, and the ribbon goes off to the side and is frayed for the antanae (sp?).

For the background of the card....................

.................I used the Texture Plate #4 and before I ran it through the Sizzix I brayered Versamark across the plate.  Then as soon as it came out I clear embossed it, so the background is shiny except for where the flowers are!  Pretty cool, right?

I used the Pacific Point corduroy button for the middle of the Daisy flower, and sponged the edges of the Baja Breeze Butterfly with PP too!   In person it is really a striking card.  Hope you like it!!

I would love to hear from you on whether or not you like this card.  And if you do this technique, make sure to send me a picture so I can see what you made!!

Check out my calendar and come to one of my classes!  I would love to stamp with you!!

Have a great Stamping Day!
