Kimmie's Birth Day!!! Great Friend

How are you guys doing?  I am loving what I have done today!  I took the scrapbook page from the Stampin' Up! Mini - Occasions and made it for my Daughter who is going to be getting married in January and I have to finish her scrapbook before the wedding.
This page is about the birth of my last daughter Kimmie.  Kristi (the daughter who is getting married) came home just in time to go to the hospital for the birth!!  Kristi and Kimmie developed a very strong bond right away, and Kristi was the only one able to stop her from crying!  She ended up helping me quite a bit!

It's been over 8 years and they are still close!

To do this page I took the idea from the mini, and here is a picture of the page:

Isn't it Beautiful!!??   I love everything about it.  I have a scrapbook class every month and I wanted to incorporate this page and make a 2 page spread for my class.  So that's what I did!!

Here is what I came up with:

This is the first page.  I did Journaling behind the picture and added a couple of the Butterflies from the Stampin' Up! set Great Friend.
The ribbon is from the Big Catalog called Valet.  The ribbon is silk and it is just too yummy!!

Here is the 2nd page I did:

This is everyone who was there on the BIG day, my other Daughter Becky could not be there, but arrived a few days later to help out.  You may notice that the picture of the Mom giving birth is not on these pages, well........after I put this together I went to print off the picture of me (not a good one by the way) and the printer wouldn't print it where it wasn't too dark, so rather than not have it at all, I put it on the back of the Journaling page so at least it is there.  I do NOT want to show it to you since it came out so dark, and I would rather you guys not see me that way!

Here is a close up of the Journaling page that is behind the main picture on the first page:

Now all I have to do is write about the day.  I will do this later, because I would rather do it after my class, so it is private.

I hope you have enjoyed these pages!  If you want to come to this class which is the 3rd Tuesday of each month, just let me know.  For this class you will have to pre-order the 12 X 12 paper, so give your order to my no later than  the 7th of April.

Have a Great Stamping Day!!
