Bloomin' Beautiful

Spring!!!  Isn't it great!??   Today is a nice warm day in Kernersville NC!   I have been playing with my stamps all day!  I got this idea from my good friend Pam and I changed up the colors and the stamp sets, but kept the same idea.   It came out so good!!   I used SU!'s set Bloomin' Beautiful and the wheel Romance and came up with this AWESOME card!  And yes, I know I am talking about my card, but I am not being prejudiced, it really is great!  Well.............you tell me...............I could just 'think' it is really nice, but you have to be the judge.  Leave a comment on what you think.   I am counting on you telling me the truth!

Here is a close up of the flower:

I used Crystal Effects after I stamped the image with StazOn black, then outlined all the lines with a Not Quite Navy marker and then used an Aqua Painter from Stampin' Up!  Just a note here, I have had other Aqua Painters and they do NOT do as well as SU!'s.  To be fair, nothing in my opinion comes close to the quality of our products, they are the best!  This is another reason why I joined the team.  Go SU!  LOL

I used the stamp set Stem Sayings to be the stem of the flower, and then with the Stamp-a-ma-Jig I lined up the leaves of this flower stamp and stamped them on the 'stem'.   I just omitted the stem part, but kept the leaves using a marker.

I wheeled the Romantic at the bottom of the inside, and the card opens where you see the green that was crimped.   This was a really fun card, and I am planning on my class making it at my 2nd Tuesday of the month class on the 14th of April!  We will do this card first, so the Crystal Effects can have time to dry!

Here is the inside of the card..............I used the new stamp set out of the new Mini-Occasions called Oval All (designed by SU!'s own Shelli Gardner!) and the oval scallop punch also from the mini.  I used the same two colors throughout the card, Always Artichoke and Not Quite Navy.  If you notice I even dyed the white ribbon usng Not Quite Navy on a sponge!  Love it!  I also used the clips to hold the ribbon onto the card.

I hope you think this card is as great as I think!  I expect to have some comments to tell me what you think!!!

Have a great Stamping Day!!!
