Branch Out

When I got this Stampin' Up! stamp set (Branch Out) I immediately wanted to make a card with it!  Now THAT says a lot about a stamp set,  when you just can't wait to make something!   It also has me waiting impatIently for Spring to come to the Triad!  Weather here in Kernersville has been very nice for the last week, but I just have a feeling that next week won't be as good.  I used Crystal Effects on the swing and the boots.  I love to have a card have texture.  For the background of the main card I swiped my Elegant Eggplant ink pad over the card to give a great look.  I think it makes it look 'wind blown'.   I also used black brads for the corners......speaking of corners, did you notice them?  I used the eyelet border punch that is new to SU! and I just used it on the corners to give a great look.  What do you think?

Being a deomonstrator I rarely have to come up with something on my own.  I have access to demo only groups that have a ton of samples.  But, when I pulled out this set, I came up with this on my own.    That white organza ribbon makes any card look elegant!  I haven't heard from you guys very much.......so I would love it if you could comment on my blog!  I am beginning to think you guys don't like it!

The deadline to sign up for my card class is today for the one on Monday morning......so don't wait any longer if you want to join us in making those great handmade cards!!!

Have a great Stamping Day!!
