God's Beauty and Inspired by Nature

I saw this really pretty card made by Dawn Easton and decided to make a card like hers, I changed up quite a bit, but kept the layers........I used Stampin' Up!'s Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper and Old Olive Paper.  The Butterfly is from the SU! stamp set God's Beauty, I love it!!!  It is so realistic!  Now, I have seen others who have made it look like it would fly off their page, but I'm not sure if I have captured that, what do you think?

I love multi layer cards!  In my opinion it adds a lot of interest to a hand made card.  The colors I used to color the butterfly is Riding Hood Red (there is a very little bit of it in the DSP) and Pink Pirouette using the aqua painter, it blends it very well.

I am planning on doing this card at my Hostess/Stamp Club next Tuesday.  We will be doing this card plus two others!   There is no cost to make these cards, and you don't need to be a member of the club, I only ask that you place a small order for yourself so the Hostess can earn some stamps.   We will be signing up for a new Club on Tuesday, so if you would like to join, now is the time to do it!  We have a ton of fun, and everyone learns something new (me included!).

Don't forget that it is Sale-A-Bration time!  You only have to buy $50.00 worth of product for yourself to earn a FREE item out of the SAB brochure!!  You can get stamp sets, DSP or ribbon for FREE!

Hope to see you soon!
Have a great Stamping Day!
