Sock Monkey-Shaker Card
I'm sorry that I have been AWOL lately. I needed a break for a few days, but I'm back! I hope you forgive me for my absense.
Before I took a break, my friend and I challenged each other to do a shaker card. I bought this STINKIN' CUTE Sock Monkey stamp set, but had yet to use it. So, I thought it would make a really cute shaker with the bananas inside.
I used Crystal Effects over the bananas before I cut them out, so they would have more substance. I also used the Big Shot Top Note to make the 'shaker box'. I just punched out a lot of the Top Notes using cardboard with the Big Shot, it was really fast and the top one has Designer Paper on it. I sandwiched some transparency sheets between the top and bottom layers, and put the bananas and the micro beads in there.
This card was a lot of fun to make, and it was easy!! I would love it if you guys would try to make one! Let me see what you can come up with!!!
