House of Haunts-Scrapbook page
I have been extremely busy getting ready for my World Card Making Day on October 4th,at the Kernersville Senior Enrichment Center from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., so I apologize for not posting a lot last week. I did a lot, and have a lot to post, but didn't get the chance to do it. So watch out this week, I will be posting quite a bit!!
This scrapbook page is called a 'Progressive Page'. You start off with the 6 X 6 and then get together an 8 1/2 X 11 and then a 12 X 12 and put them all together. It really helps to fill your page and takes a lot of guess work out of it.
I used the SU! Haunting Roller for the 6 X 6 part of the page along with two Jumbo Eyelets with a little of Pumpkin pie stitched ribbon in between.
For the 8 1/2 X 11 page I used the cat and the pumpkin from the Stampin' Up! mini catalog set: Halloween Frights. I used versamark and then black Embossing Powder so they really stand out. I also used brads that match the paper.
For the 12 X 12 part of the page I used the House of Haunts stamp set and the bat from the mini catalog set-Halloween Frights. I love how the entire handmade page flows! And the colors match and it looks professional! I love when that happens, and to tell you the truth, Stampin' Up! really makes it easy! Their paper, brads, ribbon and inks all coordinate so it takes all the guess work out of your designs!!
I did the journaling on the bottom of the page in black. My Daughter just loves her page!
Ok, are you ready to see the page? I'm ready to show you!!
