This card has taken me DAYS to finish!  I had to hunt down the UPS man today so I could get the Filigree piece to finish it!  Fred is a very nice man, and he takes it in stride when I find other UPS men and have them call him to see where I can meet him to get my package.  He says I am very persistant....that's not bad is it?  He usually delivers around 5 p.m., and that is WAY too long for me to wait!  LOL  Ok, I admit it.....I have a problem.....My name is Lisa and I am a stampaholic.  Anyone else out there in the same boat as me? 

I saw this card from a friend of mine and just HAD to copy it!  Thank you Gretchen B for the inspiration (or should I say for letting me copy it!?)



I used Robin Hood Red for the base, then a piece of Bella Rose and then down the middle of the card I used Kiwi Kiss.  The center is from the die (sizzix) that is exclusive to SU!.  I stamped Upsy Daisy in the center using the Tangerine Tango, and sponging with a dauber with Riding Hood Red at the tips.  And then for the piece that I have been waiting for two days to get, is the filigree!  I used one of the clear rhinestones that comes in the pretty kit!   Other than the waiting this card is really simple yet very pretty! 

I will probably be doing this card for the Monday class at the Kernersville Senior Center (downstairs from Kernersville Library) on the 15th of September.  Time for this class is 9:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Cost is free for the first time, and then $4.00 or you can place an order for yourself....anything over $20.00 the class is FREE!  You will get to do 3 projects.  See my calendar for more information.
