Unforgettable/Enjoy Every Moment

I had my Hostess club last night, and I wanted to share with you what we worked on.  I found out something online and I designed a card around the idea.  I have always used Crystal Effects to make certain things on my projects pop.  But, I had never thought of doing them before hand so I wouldn't have to wait for the Crystal Effects to dry.  I decided that I wanted red dots on my card, so I used the 1/4" circle punch and punched out my red circles and I then put them on my SU! glue dots.  I then put some Crystal Effects on top of the red circles so it covered the circle but did not go off.  I then let it sit and dry, by the time the class started I had a whole bunch of them with the glue dot under them and ready to put on the cards!!!   Here is a picture of part of the dots:

For the handmade card I used Stampin' Up!'s Unforgettable Stamp set and Enjoy Every Moment stamp set.  I LOVE how it came out and this card fits in SU!'s Small Open End envelopes.  The colors I chose are Garden Green, Black Soft Sky Real Red and Whisper White.  I stamped the frog in Garden Green and then colored it in with our Wonderful Watercolor Crayons, and I stamped the Enjoy with Real Red.  I love how all the inks and the papers coordinate, it really makes the project professional.

Have a great day!!!  And Enjoy Every Moment!

Great idea, Lisa! Another idea for you that I heard of the other day ... Squirt out little circles of Crystal Eff. onto wax paper and mix reinkers in them. Let dry & you have colored dots. Put them on a glue dot & pop them on your card!

Have you done this?  I wonder how hard it is to 'mix' the re-inkers in them.  Will they still make a circle?  Thanks for the comment and the idea!!
