SU! Handmade card- SC176- Friendly Flowers

This card is using the SCS sketch, you can find it here!     I used the DSP Afternoon Tea, isn't it pretty?!  I also used the stamp set Friendly Flowers out of the Occasions Mini, all of these stamp sets are die cut, so you don't have to cut them out!  The date of this mini has been extended until the end of June!  I also used the Build A Brad with a piece of the Afternoon Tea DSP in the middle.  I absolutely love the Build a Brads!  The technique that I stamped the flower in is called Rock 'n' Roll.  You just ink up your stamp in the lighter color, and then 'roll' the outside edges of the stamp in the darker color.  Since you are putting the lighter color in the darker color the ink pad does not show the lighter color.

Every First Monday I have a class at the Senior Center below the Kernersville Library at 9:45 a.m.  Every Third Monday I have a class where we do a project, this class you must sign up for because I only cut enough to supply those who sign up.  For this class there is a cost, I do projects that are more detailed and use more embellishments i.e....binding a project.  Next month I am doing a class using my Bind it All and we are doing a small book (see pictures below)

This book has pockets for pictures, with pull out tabs, uses one sheet of Designer Series Paper, and is a little bigger than your hand.  VERY cute, and a great way to carry around pictures in your purse.  Mine has pictures of my kids.  Cost for class is $8.00.  Sign up is a must, this class is June 16th at the Senior Center at 9:45 a.m.

Have a great day!!
