Zach's Birthday Card-Crab & Company

This is the card I sent my Nephew for his birthday.  He turned 11 yesterday!   I used my water technique using the Weathered BG stamp, and the white gel pen.  It doesn't look as 'water' like as my last water card, I think it's because I made it too dark.  I wanted it to all go together so I made it a little darker.  I didn't make two of these, so I will need to make one more, so I can show people.  Normally when I make a card, I make two of the same kind...........one to keep and one to give away!  This way I mail handmade cards out more often.  I sometimes wonder if I mailed my letters either in Greensboro or Winston Salem if it would get there faster, or if mailing it out of Kernersville works just as fast.  Hmmmmmm.  Anyone know?

My class at the Senior Center in Kernersville (downstairs @ K'ville library) is on Monday May 5th.  Cinco De Mayo!  Growing up in Southern CA we celebrated this 'holiday' more than I've seen it done here.   This date always brings a smile to my face because Spanish wasn't my favorite class, and we got to have fun that day!    Anyway, (I got a little off course!) I will be showing the technique Ghosting.   It is a quick and easy technique but it is really cool!  You won't want to miss it!

Next month, I am planning on doing the Scratch and Sniff technique, and the card I made (if I do say so myself!) is awesome!  I love when I come up with something that turns out so great!  I surprise myself!  LOL  I still get tickled when I see how creative I am!  I never knew that I had a creative bone in my body until I found rubber stamping!  Who knew?!  I bet you could discover your creativity if you gave it a try and came to one of my classes!  It won't hurt to try, right?

I hope you all have a great day, and If I don't get back on tomorrow, have a great weekend!
