Wild Rose-Maga

I was sitting down today to work on my scrapbooking.  I really need to catch up!  I saw a design that I liked, so I decided to use the idea, but tweak it a little.  When you are working on anything, whether it's a handmade card, or a scrapbook page, don't worry if you pull your designs from somewhere or from someone.  There is no greater compliment than to have someone use your design.  Feel free to copy me at ANYTIME!  The only thing you should do, is if you copy exactly you should give that person credit for your creation.  Now, if you use that person's design for a starting point, you are now creating something original.  I got this design from here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/526729?cat=500&ppuser=87828

This page is my two older daughters Becky and Kristi and they are sitting with my Mom, who the grandkids named Maga.  We are visiting at my Grammy's house (Mom's Mom) so it is a double bonus to get to see both my Mom and Grammy!!

The colors that were chosen were SU!'s Bashful Blue, Ballet Blue, Vanilla, Vellum and Rose Red for the CS.  The inks were Cameo Coral, Rose Red and Always Artichoke.  The stamp set was Wild Rose.  I cut around some of the flowers to make it look like they were growing over the paper.
I used silver cording and some of our Antique brass Hodgepodge Hardware.  I really like how it came out!

If you would like to sign up for a 12 X 12 scrapbook class, I am going to have one next month. May 7th and the 14th (the same class, just two times) @ 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Be sure to sign up early!  My space is limited!  I will need a $10.00 deposit by May 2nd or May 7th (for the 14th) to hold your place.
We will be doing Two 2-page spreads for only $20.00! Which includes all the Card stock and embellishments.  You will walk away with  FOUR finished pages, ready for you to put your pictures on!  One of the pages will be this one, with a companion page.  And the other two will be summer beach pages!!  Don't wait to sign up!
