Priceless
Can I just say how much I love Stampin' Up!? I just love that they really treat their demonstrators well. I just found out that I earned, yes EARNED, 3, THREE, stamp sets!! I just want to make sure that you got that. I just ordered them, and I got the sets that I have been putting off since they are a little more than I want to pay right now. SU! are always making it possible for us to earn new sets!
And I wanted to let you know how much fun it is to BE a demonstrator!! Every time I have a workshop or class, I get to order what I want for that month!! I am making enough money to the supplies I use for classes, PLUS I get to keep my stamping habit going!! I have heard others joke about getting into a 12 step class for this habit, but I don't want to get better! LOL This is the best job ever!!
Ok, enough of that! I did this handmade card last week with my brand new set Priceless. I had just got it, and really wanted to try my hand at a card. I like how it came out, but next time I want to add a few more of our embellishments.
I used Black, Blue Bayou and River Rock Cardstock. And for the ink I only used Blue Bayou and Old Olive. I put some of the Fine Cosmo Glitter on the middle of the flower and in the middle of the flower on the Butterfly......for some reason it makes me think of those jewels you see on some women's fingernails. It really stands out, and is so pretty on this card!
I also used the versamark pen, to color in the middle of the main flower and I embossed with Clear EP. This was the first time I had colored in anything using the Versamark pen, and I wasn't sure how it would come out, and it came out perfectly! I hope you enjoy it!
