Embrace Life-water scene

My class last night went really well!  I had people come from High Point, Greensboro, Winston Salem, Walkertown and Kernersville!  The great thing was EVERYONE did an awesome job on the card I showed you earlier in the week. (the one with the horse and the sunset)    Every card was a little different, and that is what made it so awesome!  Some of the cards took on a really cool look, they didn't mean to, but they made it look like light was shining through!  Each and every one was unique and beautiful!  Very Cool!

Here is a card I did today with the leftover CS from last night.  I figured I would try something else I saw from Michelle Z. and I am so proud of myself!  It came out even better than I had pictured it in my head!  :-O   What a shock!  LOL  Usually when I picture something in my head, it doesn't even come close to how i pictured it, so either my pictures in my head are getting simpler or I just got lucky!

The Cardstock is Regal Rose, Basic Black and Whisper White.  I did the same thing as last time, which is to cut out a circle and brayer over it.  I used these colors:  Sky Blue, Bordering Blue, Brocade Blue, Creamy Caramel, Regal Rose, Groovy Guava, Pretty in Pink, then I used Always Artichoke and Mellow Moss markers on the bottom leaves, and Regal Rose and Pretty in Pink markers on the top flowers.  I then added highlights with a white gel pen on both sets of plants, and also on the 'water' so it would look like waves.  And I added some Dazzling Diamonds to the water, because when you look at water it is always sparkling!  The stamp sets I used are Embrace Life, Weathered BG and Short and Sweet.

I know this might, to some of you, look too hard.  But if you take it in sections and just make sure your colors go into the next color without leaving lines it is pretty straight forward.  If you would like to come to a class where we will do this card and another one using this same idea (making a picture with your stamps) just let me know and I will get one together!  I will only charge $10.00 for the class!   If there is enough interest I will post it on here.

I hope you liked it!
