Wanted-Summer by the Sea-Clouds

I hope everyone had a good weekend.  I was very busy, but had a good one!
This card is an idea I got just from seeing the last card I did using Michelle Z's technique of creating a story with your cards.

This one is of a couple on the beach, watching the clouds go by.  Wait!  Do you see the horses in the clouds?    Ok, my story telling needs some work!

Here is the card:

This is a square card 5 1/4" X 5 1/4", it fits in Stampin' Up!'s Medium square envelopes that are 5 1/2" sq.   I have just started using this size for a card, and I love it!!  It is easy to make the card and I don't have to worry about not having enough room to do what I want!

When I go to the beaches in North Carolina, I love looking at the clouds!  When I am home in Kernersville, I tend to stay indoors so I can spend my spare time making hand made cards and stamping!   I have a great craft room....well really it is our formal dining room...........but it's only the dining room twice a year.......where I love spending time, if you ever get to where you feel as if you HAVE to stamp, come on over!  I am always happy for stamping buddies!

Thanks for looking, and I will post something new tomorrow!  Be sure to come back!

Thank you for your comment!  I used markers to color it in.  Is that what you meant?  To be honest, when I stamped this, I did the background first, then when I stamped the couple, they had background inside of them!  LOL  So, I decided to use darker colors when coloring them so you couldn't see the BG!  I love how it came out, so like we say in the stamping business, you can never make mistakes, just an opportunity to embellish!  But in this case it gave me an opportunity to do something that I didn't have in mind at first.  It came out great, so I am happy!  Whew!

Thanks so much! YES that is what I meant - is this glossy paper or just regular white cardstock?
