Cased Card True Friend

We did this card in my last class at the Kernersville Library downstairs in the Senior Center.  Isn't this pretty?
I totally CASED this card from one that was swapped by Sharon M at the NC quarterly meeting last year.  I loved it so much that I only changed up a couple of things.  Mainly I used a different green as a background, I used Always Artichoke.  I chose this green because that is what color ribbon I had!    The other colors are Ruby Red and More Mustard.  I also used some Crystal Effects for the center of the flowers after I sponged Ruby Red over the flower.
I also used the Crafters' Tool Kit by using the template in the kit to punch the holes around the corner punch.

I STILL get excited when I see a card that I did that is pretty!!  I think back to when I first saw a card a handmade card and thought to myself "I will NEVER be able to do anything that pretty!"  And now I am!  I did not think I had an artistic bone in my body.  This is one of the many reasons why I love my job.  I get to teach others that they too can be artistic.

In our class next month at the Senior Center I want to do the technique 'Faux Tearing'.  Join us won't you?
