Kristi's 11th Birthday

Here is a scrapbook page I did for my Daughter Kristi.  Some of the pictures I used some of SU!'s punches to cut out the parts of the picture I wanted to highlight.  I also used my cutter for the bottom picture to bring more focus on the birthday girl.  She is turning 11 in this picture, she is 25 y/o now, so that should show you how behind I am. :-O   Yes, I am way behind, but I so enjoy working on these pages I don't doubt that I will catch up before she gets married.  The scrapbooks are my wedding present to my girls.  One has already married and she LOVES her books!  I just have to get the courage up to mail them to her in CA.
This page uses the Simply Scrappin' Kit -Crew Kids Girl.  These kits include self adhesive die cuts so there is hardly any stamping involved unless you would like to add some, along with multiple 12 X 12 paper.
I also used some of my rub-on's on the pictures.  The flowers on the middle top, the middle left and the right bottom all have rub-on's.  That is a really cool addition to pictures.  You'll just HAVE to try it!!

I get together at my home in Kernersville regularly with other scrappers.  Any excuse for me to work on my scrapbook is a good excuse!  You KNOW I have to catch up!    Just let me know if you ever want to scrapbook with me.   You will be able to use any of my stamps and inks.  You also get to use my expertise!  The only thing you have to bring is your book, pictures, paper and adhesive.  And if you want any 3-d items (ribbon, eyelets, brads or rhinestones) you should bring those too.  When you scrapbook with others you not only get their feedback but you will get some new eyes on what you are doing, so you will come up with things you never thought possible!!
