Band Aid Tin gift
.jpg)
I started off with a bandaid tin. I got mine from Joanne's.

I cut Berry Bliss Designer paper to fit the tin.
Put some Red sticky tape on the sides and edges of the tin. Then put the designer paper on. I then took some of SU!'s Purely Pomegranate double stitched ribbon and pulled out the white stitched parts on the ribbon. I didn't want the white on there, since I wanted to use the rub on's for the ribbon and it wouldn't show up as well.
I have a template that I made where putting this paper on the top is a piece of cake!! I used the red line sticky tape again, so it would stay on.
Here is a close up of the red sticky tape on the sides of the top. I am going to put on some of our new glitter on here! HAVE to have some glitter!!
Here is the glitter...perfect match!! And then I used some more of the pomegranate double stitched ribbon (without the white) and some pretty in pink ribbon, I tied it on the handle so it would be even prettier!!
Cut out what sentiment (rub-on) you want to put on the ribbon, and put it where you want it. I am using the white piece since I have white on the paper. I didn't think the black would look right.
Use the stick that comes with the rub-on's and rub the stick over the image. Rub it really well, so it will all stick on.
This is how it looks after you pull off the top!! I love it!!
This is the final product!! I am planning on using it for a birthday, and putting inside a gift certificate and maybe some earrings. Then she can use it to keep her favorite things in!!
I hope you liked this! I am going to have a class doing this. Everyone would order the Berry Bliss Designer Paper, and the Purely Pomegranate ribbon and what you don't use in class you get to take home! The cost for each tin is $5.00. All this (with their own template to duplicate this project) for only $25.00!! I will need to have you pre-register/pre-pay for this class, since I will need to pre-order the paper and ribbon. Keep an eye out for this class on my calendar!!
I can even send you what you need for this project if you live too far away to come to my classes. It would be just an additional $5.00 to ship it to you!!
Let me know what you think! These are so much fun to make and everyone loves a handmade gift especially one that looks so good!!
