Kristi's Book, Matthews birth

I am very proud of this page! It was really EASY and it is so pretty (If I say that, then it really must be! LOL, I hate to brag on something I made, unless of course I have surprised even myself.) I stamped the entire background with the Wanted set using Not Quite Navy. I then thought 'boy' didn't want it to be frilly, and I thought the BG looked like a shirt (kind of), and what is at the bottom of a shirt? A belt! I then used one of our square metal tags, took out the vellum inside and had a paper the same size with the horses on it, and put it behind the metal. I then enlarged the picture (want to make sure it is still the main focus!) I triple matted it to make sure that it was the main focus. I LOVE the Hostess set Word on Word, so used that to have a definition of a boy. I then wanted to put my journaling in, but where? A shirt has a pocket, and what is in a pocket? A 'handkerchief'! And the journaling is in the pocket!! I copied a pocket I had seen on another card, and drew in stitching with our AMAZING white gel pens. I hope you guys really like how it came out. If you come to any of my rubber stamping classes, or a scrapbook class, you will be learning great new ways to use your stamps! Thank you for coming!!
